About the Brand
Banks Danna Founder & Principal, Valerie Danna, is an experienced entrepreneur and former executive who set out to help like-minded people raise their profiles and achieve new levels of success. She guides clients in times of transition to harness the power of their story to positively impact their communities.
The Challenge
- In the early stages of developing her business, Valerie came with brilliant experience and strong vision that needed focus and organizing
- Messaging around her unique service-based offering needed to be streamlined for clarity without compromising her values and methodology
- Needed a visual identity that could help make her service-based business recognizabe and memorable while highlighting the concepts and methodology behind her unique perspective on the work
- As a new business, she needed the ability to maintain the visual identity herself, to apply across channels including marketing and a new website

The Strategy
Based on approved brand strategy, developed a brand narrative that reflected not only the trajectory of the work, but also the roles of Valerie and her clients within it which became the basis of the visual identity.
The Solution
- Defined brand strategy through exhaustive investigation and analyzed to inform iterations of visual identity, messaging, and website content
- The final brand narrative alluded to the journey of the work that she takes with her clients, with Valerie as the navigator guide to her client’s captain as they identify and voyage towards the client’s north star together.
- Created cohesive visual identity system to highlight narrative which was applied across a Canva library of assets & templates for self-sufficient maintenance as well as the website
- Recurring discussions of strategy built confidently positioned messaging and helped to define core services that centered Banks Danna’s unique perspective and methodology of storytelling
